If you order a specific parts number, without telling Rod the application,
they'll ship what you order. If you order by both parts number and
application, Rod will question an inappropriate number or ask for the VIN
to verify a parts number that changed during a model life. I once ordered
a replacement hose on one of our 4kq's from the number molded into the hose
I took off. He said it was not the right hose for that year 4kq, but
supplied it because it matched what came off. Possibly the engine had been
replaced before we acquired it.
