EM porting and water injection

Well I ground out my collector on my stock 10vt EM, I
basically removed the divider that splits the outlet
for cylinders 2, 3, 4, 5, I left the one for cyl #1
there so it would still direct the flow towards the
turbo. Then I enlarged everything i could get the bit
on from there. I went about two inches back with all
this. It definatly helps, I get a little more kick at
about 5500 rpms, spool up is improved, and general
throttle response. This is all comparing what I was
used to last week when it was raining and 60 deg, to
today when it's about 85. Basicly, do it! But off
the car if you can because it makes one hell of a
mess. Sorry I was to involved for pics at the time.
Project #2 was the water injection, it's installed, I
have one 7mm injector triggered at 12 psi., and
another to be triggered at high boost. It's going to
need some tweeking, it definatly wants the timing to
be advanced when it's on, so I have to tune all that
it. It seems to have good potential though.
Later,
=====
