Well,

If you were going to resell the car, you should've
gone down there and taken possession of the car first,
*then* sold it to the guy in TN.

That way the original seller feels like he's not
acting like some kinda broker and cheated out more
profit.

If the other guy in TN wants the car that bad, he'll
come to you to get it.  Go ahead and go down there and
pick it up.  You have a receipt of payment for the
car, it's too late for the original seller to return
the cash to you.
