Braking on '92 100CSQ

Thanks for the response I will definitely look into that.  Yes I do have to
stand on it to get it to stop at times, although the check engine light
does not come on that I have noticed.  The brake symbol appears every so
often though.

Robert -

Check the vacuum line going from the brake booster to the intake manifold.
Do you have to "stand on the brake pedal" to stop the car?  Hose could be
split where it connects to the intake manifold on the front of the engine.
Check engine light may also be coming on sporadically.
