exhaust hangers-something better than OEM

Have you tried the factory chain mounts?  They look like the rubber hangers
except they have a chain loop molded into the mount.  This is a pretty
standard part, and VW/Audi parts supplier should have them.

Also, if you are in fact wearing out rubber mounts in 6mo., I'd say there is
something wrong with the way the mount is sitting or holding the exhaust.  If
the hanger is binding or twisted it will fail very quickly, ensure the exh.
fits properly or no mount will hold up.
