I really like the Artic Alpins. I used them on the
200 and S/O's Pontiac minivan. Ice is the only thing
that really scares me. Had a really bad experience
with a telephone pole the first winter with the 200q
on half worn Cooper Cobras. The pole won. I've also
driven in deep and packed snow fast and with control
with both BFG HR-4's someone mentioned earlier and
also Mich. MXV-4's. I've used these on both quat and
non-quat Type 44s with great snow results. Neither of
these is good on pack ice or black ice though. I
thought the Artic Alpins did great on various icy
conditions. This year I've got some Blizzak MZ-02's?
Someone was closing them out. $52-54? shipped to my
door.
