Bently Manual Type question (CD or Book)

Hello,
  It looks like its time to buy the manual for my 87 4000 Quattro.
Obviously Bently appears to be the way to go.  But should I get it on CD
or the real book?  I see that they have both.  Anybody have an opionion
they would like to share on this one?  I see benefits both directions, I
personally lean toward the real book, but I have heard about people
doing horrible things like spilling coffee on it, and ruining a $100.00+
book.

Thanks in advance for your opionion on which one really is the best
option,
