When my starter died, I called AAA (tow service), figuring
they'd jump start it. They tried, but it still wouldn't start.
That's when they pushed me so I could "bump" start it.
Jumper's won't help start it when the problem's a dead
starter. But push-starting it will. I wish I had known
that (or thought about it, Doh!), it would have save me
a half-hour wait.
