A bunch of clear packaging tape over the brights will reduce their flare
into oncoming traffic's eyes until you get a solution.
If you had an old GM car, I'd say check the dimmer switch on the floorboard
(you're probably too young to remember those). So I'd say to check the
connectors on the comboswitch on your steering column.
