Quite possible.  I ended up with a leak in my ECU line large enough
that you could hear it with the hood up and engine running.  It wore
a few inches in the hard green line, right where it went under the
fuel lines.

If you have a Mityvac hand vacuum pump(also handy for making water
boil at room temperature to wow and amaze your friends), hook it up
to the line that runs to the ECU from the intake manifold.  On the
200q20v, one of the 3-4 vacuum lines off the IM splits into a T, with
one side going to the ECU and the other going to the fuel pressure
regulator.
