4000q exhaust

I'll second that. The Bosal is a pretty good exhaust. I had one fit on my
son's '84 4kq with very good results. Took a little patience to get the fit
right over the rear axle. Stay away from the Blau exhaust unless you get rid
of the car in a year. Mine on the '87 lasted about 18 month compared to 6
years for the factory exhaust (the time price relationship makes factory
look cheap). The '87 has sported an URq cat back since '96 with only an
occasional change of the cheap rear muffler (this is a little loud for
some). No personal experience with Stebro.

Aaron -- I was shopping around recently for '87 4000q pipes. The Parts
Connection has a Bosal system for a little over $500, cat back. I went for
the Stebro instead, but in retrospect, I'd opt now for the Bosal. Fit on the
Stebro is so-so, even if it looks pretty.
Rod at TPC said he's had a more positive response from buyers of the Bosal
system than he got from Leistritz buyers. Call him and see what he says.
As for going the muffler shop route, shop carefully! If you know of a highly
skilled bender, it's one thing, but the average Gomer might disappoint you.
