ABS light on and off now/reset?

My 200q's abs light started acting up yesterday. It goes on for a
little while, then shortly after driving,  it goes out. Sometimes, it
comes back on. It flashes off for a second when the high speed
radiator fan kicks in. I think I have noticed it going off when I go
over bumps. It tends to come on only after the car is first started
or restarted. Today, it didn't go on at all. Is there any way to
reset/diagnose it safely? I tried disconnecting both of my batteries
(one in my trunk-1,000 amps) for 20 minutes, but the light still came
on, but wen tout a little while later.
