Can someone please shed some light, pardon the pun, on the pros and cons between HID systems, H7 lights, and the regular US spec lights on A4s?  I need to buy a replacement set of headlights for a 2001 S4 and those are the choices.  I see people retrofitting their HID systems onto european headlights, which seems to be the best option.  I wonder if anyone out there has gone from HID to the european fixture with the stock H7 lamps and obtained good results.  Another option for me would be to throw in a couple of A4 headlights.  Any preferences out there?
