'86 CGT Engine Stall

Recently I have been noticing a tendency of my engine to stall out when
I let up the clutch.  It's like the engine just doesn't want to take
anymore and says NO.  It usually happens in stop and go traffic,
primarily at stop signs on campus.  When I apply the gas to let the
clutch out the engine revs then just cuts out.



The first time it happened I was pretty close to an empty tank, so I
filled it up and the problem seemed to go away.  However more recently
it has been happening on a full tank.



Could it be the fuel distributer?  The car did sit for a year or so
before I purchased it.
