Sounds like a keeper Stephane. If you get it running without major $$
hassles and the tranny works good, keep it on the road. I've run into
a couple of boys 'round here with original autobox 5kt's with over
250k km on them with no problems. Mind you, they keep a close eye on
things. I think one was close to 300k km. Most of the catastrophe for
the auto is a leaking seal between the tranny and the diff. Check the
tranny fluid for signs of contamination. The seal can be replaced.
