Radiator stop-leak?

Anyhow......Did anybody ever try that dry aluminum flake material in a
tube, that claims it will never harm anything in the coolant system?  Every
gas station carries it and it has been around for 50 years.

I love that stuff!  When people come in after using it, I get to do a
cooling system flush (VERY thorough, VERY time consuming, somewhat
expensive), and sell 'em a new radiator.  It's just not compatible with the
modern radiator design.  It may have been on the market for 50 years, but
that only means people can still be induced to buy it, not that it's any
good.  John
