TT rollbars

Folks,

This question has been coming up more and more- the national club
rule is what's called the broomstick+2 rule; distance between
driver's head(wearing helmet) and a broomstick laid across the top
of the windshield and roll bar must be 2 inches.

In fact, most convertibles(from any manufacturer) barely pass this
rule. It is a critical issue- all the electronic boxes in the world
won't help you if the car hits something, or the driver gets
confused, etc; in certain situations, any car is going to flip, and
if your head sticks out too much, you're going to be coming away
shorter than you went in.

Brey-Krause makes an $600 extension for the Boxster; looks like it
bolts in down low to some existing bolts, and then clamps to each
hoop up top with some beefy looking clamps. Has anyone seen anything
similar for the TT? I'm told there -is- a rollbar that is accepted,
but haven't found much...

Brett
