Fuel Injector Job 1990 200Q

I just pulled them out on my 1990 200 and can't say it was all that
easy. My Coupe GT uses a special tool to grab the injector under the
hex and use a screwdriver to leverage it out (the tool has slots for a
screwdriver), so it's very easy. Unfortunately, it didn't fit the
200... The trick is to somewhat grab the injectors by the hex and pull
them straight out, without damaging the lines. I ended up using a piece
of wood and a large screwdriver. Be sure to remove the throttle cable
bracket for better accessiblity. If they've never been replaced, the
O-rings will be hard and brittle, use a vacuum cleaner to suck out any
remains. Be sure to put new O-rings when reinstalling. I've never
pulled the inserts, you have to be very careful with those as they can
crack and cause a real mess, I don't think I'd touch those, perhaps
others may differ in opinion. Be sure to put a little silicone grease
on the big rubber O-ring when reinserting, makes it a lot easier to pop
them into place, check that they're all the way in.

>Hi All, I need to replace the injectors on my 1990 200 Q. The car has
189k on it and this has never been done. Should I
>change the injector "inserts" as well. How much of job is all this, any
recent BTDT's. Any suggestions for the removal and >insertion of both
the injectors and insert would be great. TIA Blake Gibb 1990 200Q
