4000q sway bar on a CGT

Yesterday, I called Force5 and spoke to Chris. I was ordering a few replacement parts and at the last minute decided to go forward with getting a 4000q front sway bar for my CGT. When I talked to Chris about using a late 4000q front sway bar as an "upgrade" for the stock one, he seemed a bit confused. He didn't know that the front sway bar on a 4000q is substantially thicker than on a CGT (or 4000S for that matter). So, my question to the list is....am I high? Did I imagine that the 4000q front sway bar is thicker and is a bolt on upgrade for the CGT? Chris is usually VERY knowledgeable about all things Audi, so if he didn't know, I figured it is likely that I might be the one who was wrong...

Oh, one last thing, has anybody found a way to reuse the stock front sway bar as a rear?
