A8s readily available. S8s rare as hen's teeth, especially in pearl:
I've seen one for sale. Most are black or silver.
Depending on his pocketbook, he should shoot for a 2000 and up. More
refined car. Start looking on Ebay. Even the Audi dealers put Audi
Assured cars up there. He can also search Audi's website. Most dealers
across the country have their used inventory online now.
Decent prices (depending on mileage/condition - add 3K for Audi Assured):
1997: 18K or lower
1998: 20K or lower
1999: 23K or lower
2000: 26K or lower
2001: 30K or lower

Add a couple K more at the dealer. Negotiate hard. The only Audis
selling used slower are A6 2.8s due to high lease volume.
