I too believe the V1 is the best available.
I have an early generation (no laser) which I thought about upgrading
but was dissapointed that its trade value was $50. Maybe that's changed.
I have noticed a decrease in its sensitivity over the years 6+?
Maybe its from being subjected to full blasts from my own X band Speedgun.
I've been rocketing around for two years without it (now I'm jinxed -
I said it)and only been pinned down once in Vegas.

The "bogey counter" and the directional arrow makes things even more
precise.

Although shadowing and other driving techniques are better suited for
ticket avoidance.

Any talented cop can "pop" you with instant on......its the range warning
that
driver's need to take seriously. Most dismiss them as false alarms.
>Another pair of thumbs for the V1. It's far more like a laboratory
instrument than an auto accessory. HTH -Scott in BOSTON
