weird window operation

I'm not sure we're goin in the right direction here. The way I would explain
it is that it seems like something is taking a while to charge up. The radio
works whether the car is on or off.The windows AND sunroof are inoperable at
this time no matter what door you try it on. But, once they are on they work
fine until you shut the car off. I have tried opening the door, turning the
car off and then back on, I've checked the wires. I dunno where else to go with this....is
there some sort of device that stores charge for the windows and sunroof
(other than the battery of course)? Thanks for all the ideas though! I
appeciate your efforts!
