not boxy, and very bad

I wasn't even going to read this thread because I can't afford a new
whatever for a while. But after reading Scott's contribution, it made me
remember why I like the Audi. Yes, I've driven some new cars, terrific
gas mileage, reasonable price, but I start missing all the things that
came with my 14 (now 16 year) old 5kcd/s; heated mirrors, electrical
adjusting outside mirrors, seats bases that tilt to give more support
under the thigh, a heating system that puts hot air into the rear seat
compartment, and ... 4wd. You never know how important this is until you
get a freak snow storm in April and have to help everyone else get
unstuck :-)

And I know what Scott means when he compares the ovloV with the Audi; I
helped a fellow lister with the brakes on his '85 ovloV and had to drive
it to his home. It didn't fit. It is a big box with seats inside,
whereas the Audi fits. It is designed as an extension to the driver's body.

Cheers to All
George
