I've got news for you- most phone companies sell their unlisted
customer's names , addresses, and numbers, just like they sell the
'listed' numbers.

"unlisted" only keeps you out of the whitepages- that's pretty much it.

Oh, and those caller-id blockers?  They don't do anything when you
call a 800/888 number.
