4Kq sway bar on CGT

I tried to put the 4Kq sway bar that I got from Force5 on my 87.5 CGT. It doesn't fit right. When the center mounts are bolted on, the ends of the sway bar extend past the stock CGT swaw bar end-links (holes in the sway bar don't line up with the stock end links). What am I doing wrong? Or is there some difference on the 87.5 CGT that makes a 4Kq sway bar not work?
