Folks,
Finally got it installed yesterday afternoon.
Got a rebuilt Bosch unit from the local Pep Boys for $140. I was able to un-do the top bolt using a 10" extension with a wobble for the 19mm socket using a 1/2" drive (thanks to the great advice from you all).
Starter sounds very clean and crisp and no starter problems for now. The other good thing is that I spent about $80 on various sockets and extensions from Sears which I didn't have before. So, instead of paying a local wrench to do this, I ended up buying a bunch of tools from the labor I saved. Even though it takes me about 5 or 6 times longer then what you folks could do it in, it was well worth it.
Thanks for all the help.
