My 88 90 also has the integrated CEL, but only cars with minicheck has them.

On my 88 90q, you don't need a special tool.  You can use any spare fuse to
jump the fuel pump relay.  Just put a standard fuse in the two sockets.
It's quite simple.  Follow John's instructions about the fuse in there every
5 (I think the bentley says 4) seconds.  Read the flashes on the dash of the
check engine light.  Then go another 4 seconds to trigger the next reading.
