Looking at buying a 93 Eurovan (minimal Audi content) need advice

First off, Congrats! On the Eurovan end, I'm certainly no expert, I just
know what I sell and what we tend to see on the used end. A/C compressors on
the 5cyl vans tend to go kaput, coils on occasion as well. Couldn't say why,
but they seem to rust far worse than other VAG products of the same year
range. I've heard several comments of people having sliders repainted, and
rust repair work done at what I would call atypical mileage. I did a cyl
head on one once, before I had the Bentley, that was a painful cryptic job!

Don't rule out the Vr6 models, IMHO. And I'm sure there's a Eurovan list out
there similar to the Vanagon one.
