Just my $0.02 worth.

So this is a company car?

Then I would try to talk them into the Passat W8.
It has a 270hp 8 cylinder, actually more than the 2.7tt engine, and
definitely more than the 3.0 engine. It also has the Audi all wheel
drive, not the Volkswagon all wheel drive. Audi and Volkswagon play a
name game with the all wheel drive systems. Volkswagon calls all their
systems 4Motion, no matter the source; and Audi calls all their systems
Quattro, no matter the source.

The main Audi system is based on a longitudinal engine layout, with a
Torsen center differential. The main VW system is based on a transverse
engine layout, with a Haldax differential in the rear of the vehicle.

The Passat uses the Audi system and calls it 4Motion, and the TT uses
the VW system and calls it Quattro.

( cup hoder is terrible, the salesman asked me to slow down) I prefer an avant but the 2.7 isn't available in that version. Next step up would be the All Road but I dont need all the stuff it offers. Whis the company would spring for an S6.
