W8 or what?

I feel the 3.0 A6 with the CVT is a great car, powerful enough for the class
(bottom of mid-luxury). If quattro isn't necessary, it's a good engine w/ a
great transmission. Of course, there are less expensive FWD cars out
there...

I like the W8, I don't like the autobox w/it. Of course, could you install a
Garret Tiptronic chip in the W8, to better the shift patterns?
