I say this emphatically:
Haldex sucks next to Torsen.
The only good thing about it is that it allows you to
mount the engine more rear of the front axle, getting
rid of some oversteer, but on a TT, the Haldex could
use some work.
During the winter, this was obvious upon driving my
friend's TT 225. Constant front to back shifts in the
snow and also on hard street driving. One time when
he launched the car, he just spun the rears while the
fronts did nothing.
I'll take my torsens until something better comes...or
they bring back locking center diffs. ;-)
