I jumped down their, and it did not come on....Of course, Now I am
trying to remember was the engine on when I did that...I forgot that the
after run is a separate circuit so to say. It is on my list of things
to check...Since I am now at work..I have to go out and jump the fan
relay to get it to run. Oh what fun. The drive home will tell me
loads. If the car still gets hot, then I have a bad thermostat, if not,
then everything is as it should be and the problem is electrical, not
mechanical.
Thanks,

Hi Cade,
Your temp might be slightly high. I assume this is at idle and
sitting.
Don't know if you rebled the coolant system after your R/R'd the
tank/cap. I
would do so. If you can, park on a slight incline with nose higher,
get car
good and warm, and then slowly open the small bleeder nut atop the
radiator.
If fluid dribbles out, you should be okay.
AFA the rad fan not coming on -- if you jumpered the harness leads that
attach to the temp sensor at the bottom of the rad and the fan
operates, the
sensor is bad.
