Weird problem - Wipers at high boost/RPM

OK -  I have weird problem that I need some help addressing:

When I run my 86 4KTQ rally car at high boost/rpm on a stage or parked in my
garage - the wipers and WW fluid pump come on. (Yes Mr. Swanson - this is
the same problem from Rally New York).  If I pull the intermittent wiper
relay it doesn't happen BUT if I replace the relay with another one it does
occur.  Obviously a loose wire or something - anybody BTDT?
