Timing Belt off a tooth??

I wouldn't worry too much about it breaking, they'll usually just get
sloppy enough to seriously effect the timing and maybe jump worn teeth.
IF you decide to change the gears and chain, do yourself a favor and put
in a new camshaft.  I've noticed a high incidence of broken camshafts on
high mileage (250K+)  Cheby and dorF  shortly after chain replacement.
