CGT digital to analog conversion issues

It happens to be me.

I got sick of the instability of the digital dash.

So, with the help of Mr. Ebay and time I converted to analog. It took couple
of months to find all the gauges with the right resistence ranges.

Here is a pic: http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/2004/panel.jpg[1]

If you want to go to this route let me know and I'll help you.

Later,

>There is a guy on AudiWorld who converted to analog gauges, although he used
standard VDO rounds. If you are not an AW member, I'll try to contact him for
you. I realize you aren't nuts about the digital dash, but consider putting
one back in. I hated mine at first but have grown used to it, and now actually
like it. You have a very rare CGT Commemerative Edition there, and I think she
deserves to be kept as stock and unmolested as possible...but either way, I'd
be glad to help contact the guy on AW if you're not a member.

driver duties, I am contemplating how to resolve the gauge issues. Namely
there aren't any except for the console ones. Voltage and oil temp are okay
(grin) but I need to get at least a working speedo to register the thing. I
have access to a complete GT dash at bargain prices (analog) and am thinking
that I prefer it to digital. (Based on roommate's '86 GT with digital- I don't
like it even when it works!)

a matter of hooking up a speedometer cable and matching up the harnesses.

more spacious, quieter, and if anything, even more unique out on the road
(unless convoying with Ken and Tom in their '86s also!)
