Is the UR S4 really worth it

Eric,

Only you can really answer that, go drive one and find
out!  I think you'll find the ur-s4 doesn't seem as
fast because they are more refined, and the boost
comes on smoother, but don't be wrong, they move
pretty well.  Now a 20vt with a 280 hp chip is another
story, I'm not sure you can compare them.  If you are
going to modify the car even more, the S4 is much
easier because there are bolt on mods that will get
you to the 350+ hp range.  Granted they may not be
cheep, but niether is getting a 10vt to that level.
Also if your really nuts you can get 500 hp out of
those engines with big turbo, con rods, IC, exhaust,
injectors and software.

I think it's also safe to say there is no comparison
between the electronics in the two cars.  I think Audi
made a pretty large leap in that department starting
with the type 89 on.

I'll admit, I almost threw in the towel on my car the
other day for a 95 S6.  Then reality set in, if I put
that money towards my car, just imagine.....but then
theres all the work involved:(  Who am I kidding I
love this stuff.
