Sounds like a warranty issue to me - how long did they warrant their
work for, anyway?  These engines should run well into the 250-300k mile
range.  Someone did a truly lousy job on yours.  Oh, how many miles is
"two weeks," by the way?

$600 - 1500 dollars.  U.S. dollars.  Maybe more.

Get a compression and leakdown test, at least that might narrow it down
to rings (likely?) or valve guides, or something.  Then you can get
quotes more easily.  Or fix it yourself, once you know what you are
fixing...
