I sent an answer, but it didn't make to the list. Oh, well...
I have the fuel gauge in the center console where the ashtray used to be.
Some other facts and couriosities:
There is no radio, instead I put a din plate with lights switch, alternator
switch and an Amperimeter.
I got sick of the D+ breaking, so I put a toggle switch with a new wire going
to the D+ terminal in the alternator. I start the car, give a 12V shot and the
alternator comes alive.
The Tach is from a Porsche.
The trickiest used part to find was the fuel gauge due to the unusual ohms
range.
The funniest thing is that all of this "avionics" are good on paper, during a
race I barely see the shift light, the rest is just a blur. I only check them
between stages.
Later,
Carlos.
