1994 90S washer reservoir - seal #26???

Brian (et al),

The Bentley manual shows a seal on the forward end of the bottle (the part
you can't see when the bottle is in place). About half way up. It's marked
with #26. Does anyone know what that is for? It might be the source of my
leak...
