E-code Headlight leaks water

Well, that was easy. I took out the offending headlight and inspected it.
The glass lens had cracked at the upper outer right angle, where the
glass lens mates with the metal reflector shell. A chip of glass had
popped out, about the size to admit a flatbladed screw driver. Source of
leak identified.
I'm going to use JB Weld epoxy to replace the glass chip. Has a heat rating
of about 600 degrees F. Location of defect is totally away from any
reflective surface, so all I'm attempting is a re-seal. Reports of repair
will follow.
I guess my call for BTDT was not necessary. But thanks anyhow for replies.

.............I suspect another source for the leak. But I'm only guessing.
If anyone has any experience with such leaking quad E-codes, and some
ideas, I'll be very appreciative. Nothing like a BTDT. Hope to hear how you
did it.
