Hi i find this mailing list great it helps out everybody owning an audi.I'm
having a few problems i converted my audi 4000s to a mc engine everything
runs fine afterun, engine light yep fault codes :) 4444... ayways i have
poor oil pressure so i buyed a used oil pump from force 5 installed it and
everything still same problem the engine has 2 to 3 bar then drop and drops
till it gets to a nice .5 or less havent gone to full temp yet... i changed
the oil  a few times 2 times with old and once with new  now running on 20
50 no differencce when engine warms up still not much pressure .5....
Anyways i wanted to know if it would have anything to do with the kh oil
braket or would it be the oil cooler?
I know there's a spring in the braket so maybe that would be a problem?Seems
the braket came from an engine that overheated two times because of poor oil
pressure, guy abandoned engine and baught another car...maybe too much oil
goes thru the turbo?By pressure dropping i mean i can see it drop takes less
than 3 minutes to drop to .5  Oh and yes, i have checked it with a mecanics
gauge too; to be shure i had the right readout... Anybody else have same
problem or can help me out?
Second question:
what are good after market shocks for a 4000 5 cyl car? Same as coupe 85 +I
baught some at 125$ and they lasted 3 months wow :) dam inserts  need
something reliable that will last and still comfy.
Also
My gt coupe 87.5 2.3 is acting wierd when at idle and i stomp the gas, well
from engine compartment, it does a pinging noise or something  for a quarter
sec maybe 10 20 times before stopping (maybe at 2000 3000 rpm) so was
wondering if this was normal and if the check engine light comes on when
engine pings /detonates?
If i play with timming giving more retard the sound goes away but engine is
sluggish very sluggish no vacuum leaks or anything.
