Oh, that is so cool.  Someone with carburettor trouble!

If you're not trying to keep the car bone-stock, have you considered
installing CIS-E?  Once set up, it is very reliable and easy to
maintain.  Though I suppose, your head won't have injector holes so it
might be a bit of work.  That's a 4 cylinder car, right?
