fuel system troubleshooting help needed

Does anyone know the symptoms of a bad pressure actuator (aka diff. pressure
reg)?  I saw in the Probst book that it says it should be replaced if lower
chamber fuel pressure is off when using a 15K ohm resistor on the temp sensor.
Is there another way to know if its bad without using fuel pressure guage?  I
get a mA reading and the proper 17-21 ohm resistance from it but that doesnt
show its good or bad according to Prosbt book.

Anybody know about this?
