After massive coolant leak, terrible idle, black smoke. still in trouble

Yea, let it heat up and take it for a little spin.  I
bet you're in some kind of limp mode, you should get
some codes for sure.  If I had to guess at what's
wrong, I'd look at the Mass Airflow sensor, and the
temp sensors.  If one of those were having trouble,
you'd be running rich.
