tranny input shaft seal puller?

A sheet rock screw, needlenose pliers, and dental pick will do.

If the "proper" tool is anything like the crnk seal puller, it's a
properly sized piece of tubing with cutting threads on it to bite into
the inner edge of the seal and then pull it out.
