'82 4K (4 cyl) will not idle

Are the basics in order?  I.e., no vacuum leaks, fuel filters, spark
plugs, ignition wires in good condition, ignition timing, basic CO and
throttle body idle adjustment are all set to spec?  When was the
oxygen sensor last replaced?

If these don't solve the problem, check the fuel distributor air flow
sensor plate to make sure it's not sticking.  Some resistance is normal
due to residual fuel control pressure.  Also, check fuel system pressures
to verify that they are within spec.
