89 200tq Check Engine Light Location?

Mike,

Audi decided not to install the bulb in  the space for the check engine
light. However, all the wiring is there. Or at least most of it - it might
need the bulb holder.  I added the buld and have a momentary contact  toggle
swith permanantly wired to the diagnostic connectors and installed in the
steering column housing behind the turn signal switch.
