Synthetic oil for I-5s

I've swapped over four I5's with no problems whatsoever.

In my experience, Rotella Synthetic 5w-40 works the best. Using M1,
I see the oil pressure gauge start to drop, along with higher oil
temps at about 2,500-3,000 miles. Syntec 5w 50 is a little better. I
do get lifter noise that doesn't always go away after startup. With
Rotella synthetic, I have lower oil temps and the pressure (I equate
this to viscosity) does not drop very much by 5-6,000 miles. Last
year, I went 9,000 miles (did a long road trip decided to change oil
when I got back), tore the upper end apart and it was totally clean.
Oil pressure and temps were still the same as the first day. It's
cheaper and cleans out the engine really well. Shiny aluminum
without the brown coating like M1 or Syntec. No lifter noise 3
seconds after startup.
