This is really close to the standard bedding in process. It also happens to
heat things up a bunch to remove minor warping of the rotors. Standard
"couple of times" is 6 total or until fading is evident. Brakes will smell.
But then you MUST drive using the brakes minimally until they cool down.
This is a long process about 30 minutes to cool down so plan on some nice
highway cruising for the cool down. Then when you park do not use the
parking brake the first time. More material will transfer to the rotor from
that stopped position and you'll have a shudder as a result.
