Stephane,
It seems as though a properly functioning proportioning valve would reduce
the chance that the ABS would interceded in your braking efforts. By
proportioning the braking pressure to the wheel(s) that capable of applying
the most force upon the earth, it should keep the ABS from interrupting the
brake efforts, no?
